Founder and CEO

Scott Gillespie’s career in real estate development and construction spans nearly three decades. While earning his degree in construction management from Michigan State University, Scott worked with a few notable real estate developers as a project manager. In 2006, Scott formed The Gillespie Company to bridge his passion for the built environment with his sincere desire to improve communities. Growing up on the east side of Lansing, Scott was committed to restoring the vibrancy of that community. While still dedicated to reenergizing the Lansing area in which he grew up, Scott has completed significant developments all across Michigan and elsewhere. His passion for working with community members and creating something together drives him to seek out opportunities that allow for growth and revitalization of an area.
